MY STORY

I absolutely love animals and that’s most of the reason I chose Taxidermy, I can preserve them after death. It’s an odd way to think about it, but I feel like I’m extending the life and beauty of the animal. Besides I also get to pet all the animals that wouldn’t let me when they’re alive, like bears and mountain lions. I went to the Montana School of Taxidermy in January of 2024 and stayed for 2 months, during my time there I learned so much from my instructors Jeff and Jody. Before I went to learn Taxidermy, I got my Batchelor’s in Fine arts from WSU, which was ironically Jeff’s old college. I chose art as my degree to help know anatomy and colors better, so I can color match better and hopefully make things more lifelike! I met so may wonderful people when taking the class, and I can’t wait to meet you!
